Your new role

As our new Senior Lead Consultant, you will be part of our diverse, creative and collaborative California team. You will work with all levels of expertise from junior-level team members to members with decades of experience, many of whom are subject matter experts in their fields. You will support and lead workplace and environmental health assessments, exposure monitoring, qualitative and quantitative industrial hygiene risk assessments and control strategy development for industrial and commercial clients.

This role combines fieldwork, data analysis, client engagement and technical reporting.

Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Liaise with clients, regulatory agencies and multidisciplinary Ramboll teams to ensure compliance with applicable industrial hygiene-focused standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to project proposals, scopes of work, and technical bid documents.
  • Mentor early career staff and participate in knowledge sharing and professional development activities.
  • Conduct and direct:
    • Qualitative and Quantitative Exposure Assessments
    • Indoor Air Quality Assessments
    • Water Intrusion and Microbial Assessments
  • Industrial Hygiene Risk Mitigation and Controls Review
About you
  • BS/MS in a relevant engineering discipline (industrial hygiene, occupation safety, or closely related) or science discipline (chemistry, environmental science, or closely related).
  • 3+ years of relevant industrial hygiene experience is required.
  • Strong mathematical/computational skills including high-level use of spreadsheets and word processing and effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills.
  • Current or interest in pursuing professional industrial hygiene certification and licenses.
  • Experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports.
  • Candidates must be willing to perform field activities and short-term travel up to 40% of the time on average during the year and possess a valid driver’s license. Travel may include overnight stay and may be out of state.

Salary Transparency Statement

At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $107,167 - $133,959. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
