Civil Engineer PE, EIT - Design

Webuild  has been engaged by a respected engineering firm to identify a Civil Engineer (PE or EIT) to provide comprehensive design services for commercial, residential, and mixed-use development projects across Southern California. This role offers leadership in design delivery, mentorship of junior staff, and coordination with clients and municipal agencies.

The Civil Engineer / Design Engineer, you will be entrusted with overseeing all civil design activities associated with a portfolio of land development projects; responsible for conceptual and detailed site design, grading (rough and final), underground utility design (street, sewer, water, and storm drains), and hydraulic calculations. The role includes project coordination, oversight of technical design standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining compliance with regulatory and engineering best practices.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and PE or EIT registration in California, with a commitment to obtaining full licensure if not already licensed. A minimum of eight years of experience in land development is required, with proficiency in Civil 3D and strong leadership, written, and verbal communication skills.
