Transmission Line Project Engineer

• Conduct analyses to develop design options.
• Perform PLS‑CADD modeling, calculations, and analyses.
• Assist with preparing cost estimates or specifications.
• Perform routine to moderately complex engineering and design tasks.
• Lead design teams to develop and complete full construction packages for transmission line projects.
• Participate in field reviews or construction observation.
• Train and mentor junior and entry‑level engineers.
• Coordinate work of the electrical design team on large institutional/industrial projects through the schematic design development and contract document phase.
• Establish meetings and participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance.
• Coordinate workload to complete deliverables on schedule.
• Conduct work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplines.
• Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines on addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders, and incorporate agreed‑upon changes into the project documents.
• Conduct QA/QC for transmission projects.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• Master's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.
• Previous experience with an engineering consulting firm.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm (desired).
• Familiarity with NESC and GO 95 codes; familiarity with PLS‑TOWER and/or SAPS modules of PLS‑CADD.
• Previous experience with the utility industry or engineering consulting firms (desired).
• Preference for local candidates.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
• Previous experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office and standard Power Market Sector design software (e.g., PLS‑CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Auto Pipe, Revit).
