We are seeking an entry level geologist to join our Environmental Services Team in Irvine.

• Perform basic geological and seismic evaluations, fault rupture hazard analysis, and slope stability investigations.
• Conduct hydrogeologic analysis including aquifer test analysis, geochemical analysis, geotechnical analysis, and contaminant transport analysis in both surface and subsurface geological settings.
• Execute well geological logging, water sampling, surface geological mapping, aquifer testing, and soils characterization; compile and evaluate data.
• Prepare cross‑sections, iso‑concentration maps, and QA/QC analyses.
• Develop draft evaluations and calculations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Ensure firm policies and practices are followed on all assessments.
• Contribute to firm knowledge management by authoring white papers and technical design documentation for new or special‑case studies.
• Submit technical papers and designs for publication in technical journals.
• Attend conferences and symposia to promote the firm’s products and services in collaboration with applicable sales staff.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Science or a related discipline.
• No prior work experience required.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency contingent on project demands.
• Equivalent directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Basic knowledge of computer‑assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of scientific methods and processes.

• Valid driver's license required.
• Background checks and drug testing may be required.

Pay Range Minimum: $64,813

Pay Range Maximum: $106,954

Travel Requirement: 60%
