JOB TITLE: QC Inspector - Hubble
LOCATION:
Irvine, CA
PAY RATE: $45.00/hour
Job Details- Job Type: Contract (4 months with potential for extension)

- Perform in-process and final assembly inspections in accordance with QMS requirements
- Accurately input inspection data and results into applicable systems
- Follow and document complex inspection and manufacturing processes
- Communicate inspection results and product acceptance criteria with engineering, management, and production teams
- Generate Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) within Oracle ERP, TipQA, and/or Apriso as required
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 5+ years of experience required
- A&P License highly desired
- Specific vision abilities required, including color perception, close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment (corrected or uncorrected)
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted
- Working knowledge of AS9100 and other relevant aerospace industry standards
- Hands‑on experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment, with emphasis on aircraft mechanical and pneumatic systems, including prototype aircraft and mechanical system integration
- Experience inspecting a wide range of components, including engines, avionics, and aircraft structures
- Strong understanding of FAA regulations and aviation industry requirements
- In‑depth knowledge of inspection techniques and quality issues related to aerospace hardware and systems
- Ability to generate NCRs using TipQA and/or Apriso
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools, CATIA V5 (or similar CAD software), and 2D/3D engineering drawings
- Strong math and technical writing skills
- Proven experience using precision measurement tools in aerospace inspection
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of company personnel
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR)
Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) to comply with ITAR regulations.
