JOB TITLE:
Avionics Electro-Mechanical Technicians - 100+ Openings
Location:
Irvine, CA
Pay Rate: $42-45/hour
Job Details- Job Type: Long-term 12+ month contract with strong potential to convert to a full-time, direct position after 6 months for top performers

- Build, modify, route, and install aircraft wiring harnesses and electrical components
- Perform functional and operational testing of avionics and electrical systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues on newly installed or modified systems
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Work in confined aircraft spaces (cockpits, avionics bays, ECS compartments)
- Use hand tools (crimpers, strippers, cutters) and testing equipment (multimeters, etc.)
- Document maintenance, repairs, and parts usage accurately
- Collaborate with engineering teams and other technical personnel
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of recent avionics, electrical, or aerospace experience
- Mix of office, hangar, and industrial/warehouse environments
- Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems and avionics theory
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and documentation
- Hands‑on experience with wire harness assembly and installation
- Comfortable working in tight spaces and performing detailed technical tasks
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Frequent standing, climbing, stooping, and movement between work areas
- May involve crawling, working inside aircraft, and occasional outdoor work
- Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR)
