Manufacturing Engineer
This position requires a seasoned individual contributor with advanced knowledge in the manufacturing engineering field. The role involves working independently under limited supervision to design and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing product quality.
Top 3 Technical Skills Required- Understanding of Various Manufacturing Processes:
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing techniques such as injection molding, machining, assembly, and quality control methods. - Ability to Identify and Resolve Manufacturing Issues:
Analyze data, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. - Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Six Sigma Methodologies.
- Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or Electrical). - Experience
Required:
Minimum of 4 years in Medical Device Manufacturing.
- Hours:
40 hours per week. - Location:
On-Site.
Interviews will be scheduled within a week.
Product Line SupportedThis position will support the Solitaire product line.
Responsibilities- Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
- Design the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout.
- Specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment to affect product performance.
- Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions, incorporating inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
- Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency and initiate corrective action for problems and deficiencies.
- Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques.
- Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
- Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
The role may involve mentoring colleagues or directing the work of lower-level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing projects from design to implementation while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Advanced knowledge of the job area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Practical knowledge of project management is beneficial. Requires a University Degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
