Black & Veatch has an exciting opportunity to join our growing corrosion practice as part of our Infrastructure Advisory Technical Delivery team. This role supports a diverse portfolio of projects focused on pipelines, tanks, and related infrastructure across water, electric, and power generation clients. Within our corrosion practice, we continue to see strong demand driven by aging infrastructure and the need for improved understanding of asset condition and performance.
Corrosion control and cathodic protection play a critical role in extending asset life and improving system reliability. This position provides the opportunity to:
- Contribute to meaningful projects by supporting field investigations, evaluating corrosion risks, and developing practical solutions for asset integrity and long-term performance.
- Participate in field investigations, data analysis, and engineering evaluations of infrastructure assets, supporting corrosion control and condition assessment activities for pipelines, tanks, and related facilities.
- Work closely with experienced engineers and field specialists across our national practice, gaining hands-on experience in cathodic protection systems, condition assessment technologies, and data-driven decision making.
- Contribute to delivering projects for a wide range of clients, including water, electric, and power generation utilities.
- Work in both field and office environments, developing practical and analytical skills in corrosion engineering and cathodic protection systems.
This is a strong opportunity for individuals with experience or interest in corrosion engineering and cathodic protection to further develop their technical skills, expand their exposure to infrastructure systems, and grow within a collaborative, high-performing team.
