Biomedical Engineer

To contribute to our R&D and manufacturing teams by performing design, optimization and DFM strategies for various medical tools, devices and parts.

• Designing, developing, testing and modifying and optimizing medical products, equipment and devices,
• Maintaining equipment and running experiment,
• Modeling and simulation of medical devices,
• Analyze data, prepare and present results in the forms of graphs, plots, figures,
• Perform data and statistical analysis,
• Writing test protocols, reports and documentation,
• Liaising with medical, engineering and scientific staff,
• Among other relevant tasks as assigned.

• Working towards a BSc in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering degree,
• Minimum of 3.0/4.0 cumulative GPA,
• Must show enthusiasm and passion for research and development,
• Strong mechanical aptitude,
• Excellent interpersonal skills,
• Strong organizational skills,
• Strong oral and written skills in English,
• Moderate physical exertion on a regular and recurring basis,Must be able to pass a criminal and background checks,
• Being able to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week,
• Work authorization status (visa, permanent residency, citizenship), and a second form of .

• Prior relevant academic projects and/or internships,
• Prior industry experience with medical devices,
• Working with CAD design software such as Solid Works, Creo, Pro Engineer,
• Working with FEM and modeling software such as Ansys and Abaqus,
• Working with MATLAB toolboxes,
• Some levels of skillset with coding and programming,
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• We offer $11+ per hr (commensurate to experience),
• Bi-weekly direct deposit & W-2,
• Performance-based bonus,
