MKS Newport in Irvine is seeking a Thin Film Engineer to partner with Thin Film Coating to design, develop, manufacture and test optical surface treatments. You will report to the Director of Thin Film Engineering.
Responsibilities include developing and optimizing coating processes such as ion beam sputtering, ion assist, electron beam coating, and photolithography, while evaluating equipment, reducing downtime and promoting quality and cost improvements.
