Senior Project Engineer – Water Resources

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, analysis, and design of major water resources infrastructure projects
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
• Lead the planning, analysis, and design of major water conveyance and transmission systems
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical memoranda, design reports, and supporting documentation
• Assist Project Managers with project coordination activities
• Provide proposal development, including scope descriptions, technical approaches, and fee support
• Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills when presenting technical information

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in water-related engineering disciplines
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (ability to obtain CA license by comity in a reasonable timeframe)
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale hydraulic infrastructure projects
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and engineering judgment skills
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively with project teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and presentations
• Experience with industry-standard engineering software and modeling tools used in water-related design

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
