The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California, Irvine invites applicants for a project scientist in the Gorodetsky Group, at the Assistant level. The position requires a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. Expertise with the high throughput fabrication and characterization of organic electronic or bioelectronic devices is required.
The start date is negotiable. The initial appointments are for one year, with possibility of extension depending on performance and completion of programmatic objectives and milestones.
- Conferred PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Expertise with high‑throughput fabrication and characterization of organic electronic or bioelectronic devices.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work with a wide variety of lab members in a team environment.
Basic qualifications:
PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
