OpportunityAs a Certified Engineering Geologist, you will play a key role in leading and executing geological investigations throughout Southern California. You'll work on a diverse mix of public and private sector projects, providing technical expertise and mentorship while collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, contractors, and clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and managing geologic and geotechnical investigations
- Performing and overseeing fault studies and seismic hazard evaluations
- Preparing geologic reports and technical recommendations
- Conducting field investigations, mapping, and subsurface evaluations
- Supporting grading, construction, and development projects
- Mentoring junior geologists and staff professionals
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Residential and mixed-use developments
- Commercial projects
- Schools and public facilities
- Transportation infrastructure
- Energy and utility projects
- Hillside developments
- Large-scale grading and earthwork programs
- Seismic hazard and fault investigation projects
- Strong reputation in the Southern California geotechnical market
