Military Flight Controls Division Supporting aircraft worldwide, Parker Aerospace’s Military Flight Controls Division (MFCD) provides primary and secondary flight control systems that make flight possible. Tested, proven and trusted in commercial and military applications for decades, MFCD provides precise position-control actuation solutions for military aircraft across the United States and with foreign partners. The division’s Jet Pipe® electrohydraulic servo valve (EHSV) technology is used across commercial and military aircraft around the world.

The Supplier Development Project Engineer is responsible for managing key supplier work-transfer projects in collaboration with cross-functional internal and external teams. The role supports strategic deflation initiatives, mitigates supply chain risk, facilitates continuous improvement, and helps resolve technical and operational issues with suppliers.
This position monitors supplier performance through scorecards and key performance indicators and supports supplier evaluation and approval in partnership with Procurement and Supply Chain teams.
Scope/ Supervision and Interaction- Position will directly report to the Division Supplier Development Manager.
- Will interact with cross functional teams; including Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Lean, Program Management, Finance, Procurement, and external suppliers.
- The role works closely with high-performance, cross-functional teams to align supplier capabilities with business objectives, operational requirements, and customer commitments.
- Work directly with suppliers, including on-site engagement, to support material and part requirements, preferred manufacturing techniques, and production readiness, with emphasis on complex and moderately complex machine parts.
- Lead key supplier work transfer projects while coordinating internal and external cross-functional teams to increase capacity, improve performance, and mitigate business risk.
- Support the development and execution of strategic deflation and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing suppliers to promote collaboration, accountability, and long-term partnership.
