We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Electrical Engineer with expertise in semiconductor technology, digital and analog circuits, and OLED display fundamentals. The ideal candidate is curious, eager to learn, and comfortable with hands-on device assembly and disassembly for reverse engineering tasks.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- Strong understanding of semiconductor fundamentals, digital and analog circuts
- Hands-on experience assembling/diassembling electronic devices for analysis
- Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, probe stations, and microscopes
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze circuit behavior
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies
- Perform teardown and analysis of smartphones, TVs, and other electronic devices
- Utilize oscilloscopes, probe stations, and microscopes for circuit testing and debugging
- Conduct reverse engineering of semiconductor chips and digital/analog circuits
- Analyze and interpret semiconductor process nodes, device structures, and packaging techniques
- Work with display panels (OLED, LCD) and identify key components
- Document findings with detailed reports and technical illustrations
- Experience with Scanning and transmission Electron Microscopy (SEM and TEM)
- Familiarity with FPGA, microcontroller programming, and circuit simulation tools
- Knowledge of display technologies, OLED, TFT backplanes, and driver circuits
- Prior experience reverse engineering, teardowns, or failure analysis
- Competitive hourly rate: $20-40/hour based on experience and qualifications
- Flexible part-time schedule (8-24 hours/week) with potential for full-time with benefits advancement
