Schedule: Day, evening, late-night and weekend shifts available
Cooper’s eSports Gaming Center is a family-owned gaming center located in the heart of Irvine at Diamond Jamboree. We provide a high-energy gaming environment featuring high-performance gaming PCs, consoles, tournaments, parties, private events and community gaming events.
We serve everyone from first-time gamers and families to competitive players and esports enthusiasts. Our goal is to provide an outstanding experience every time someone walks through our doors.
We are looking for dependable, energetic and customer-focused people who enjoy gaming but, more importantly, enjoy helping people.
The PositionAs a Cooper’s Team Member, you will help operate a busy gaming and entertainment center. This is a hands‑on customer‑service position that combines hospitality, gaming knowledge, basic technical support, cleaning and facility operations.
This is not a position where employees spend their shifts playing games. You will be interacting with customers, assisting gamers, cleaning stations, troubleshooting equipment, helping with events and making sure the center is running properly.
Some shifts can be fast‑paced, especially nights, weekends, holidays, tournaments and special events.
Responsibilities- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Help customers understand pricing, memberships, gaming options, events and center policies.
- Check customers in and assist them with gaming stations and accounts.
- Help customers launch games, connect peripherals and troubleshoot basic PC, console and gaming issues.
- Monitor the gaming floor and proactively assist customers who need help.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming and respectful environment for all guests.
- Professionally handle customer questions, complaints and difficult situations, with support from the Shift Lead when necessary.
- Clean and reset gaming stations, keyboards, mice, headsets, chairs and surrounding areas between customers.
- Maintain restrooms, lounges, counters and other areas of the center throughout the shift.
- Assist with birthday parties, tournaments, group events, private rentals and promotions.
- Help organize customers and gaming stations during busy periods.
- Restock supplies and keep the center organized.
- Communicate equipment problems or facility issues to management.
- Follow opening, closing, cash-handling and operational procedures.
- Work cooperatively with Shift Leads and other team members.
You do not need to be a professional gamer, but you should be comfortable around gaming PCs, consoles and gaming culture.

- Familiar with popular PC and console games.
- Willing to learn Cooper’s systems, games and procedures.
Previous customer service, restaurant, entertainment, retail, gaming-center or technical-support experience is helpful but not required.
Availability RequirementsOur operating hours extend from the morning into late night, so schedule availability is an important part of our hiring decision.
