IT Finance Manager

Overview

We are assisting one of Orange County's premier companies with their search for a IT Finance Manager. This role leads Technology-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial analytics, including monthly reporting, purchase orders, invoices, and budget allocation. Serves as a subject matter expert and trusted business partner to Technology leadership, delivering insights through strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ensures compliance with company policies and applicable U.S. laws and regulations.

Compensation: $125,000-$150,000 plus bonus

Location:

hybrid with two days a week in office

• Owns budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, resource allocation, portfolio analysis, financial modeling, and key metrics development.
• Acts as a trusted advisor to Technology leadership on critical financial and operational matters.
• Analyzes large data sets to identify business insights and communicates actionable recommendations.
• Manages purchase order processing and invoice coding to the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.
• Tracks expenditures against department and project budgets and identifies pre-approved versus non-approved spend.
• Prepares and presents budget-to-actual and variance reports, including internal and external labor.
• Partners with Technology leadership to support business performance initiatives.
• Mentors team members and supports knowledge sharing across the Technology organization.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience with 6+ years of budgeting and forecasting experience, ideally in a Technology or IT environment.
• Experience with Service Now or a similar workflow system.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Hybrid role based in Irvine, CA.
