Closing Support Specialist

Overview

Responsible for providing support to the Closing department with a focus on either Wires, Funding or Scheduling. Ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.

• Responsible for receipts and disbursements of borrowers’ and lenders’ funds.
• Manage booking incoming wires to appropriate files.
• Review the accuracy of all outgoing wires before approval to release funds.
• Review daily reports for accuracy to ensure all wires were received and sent.
• Assist funding team lead with banking related issues.
• Scan copies of disbursement documents such as signed checks, cover letters, etc., and upload into the system.
• Responsible for all signing requests and proactively following up on outstanding items.
• Communicate with lender, vendor or notary regarding scheduling issues.
• Assist closing team lead with signing related issues.

• Mortgage experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to commute to Irvine, CA or Rochester, NY full-time. Remote will be based on location and experience offered.
• Exceptional attention to detail, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Exclusive experience when using Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task with minimal supervision.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay for this role is $20-$25.24/hr and will depend on multiple individualized factors, including your job-related knowledge/skills, qualifications, experience, and market location.
