We are seeking a driven and proactive Senior Director of Financial Reporting to join our fast-paced finance team. This role is crucial for delivering accurate and timely financial reports to both internal and external stakeholders. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $200,000 to $230,000 per year.

Responsibilities:
  • Continuously improve the content and format of reports based on industry best practices.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all financial reports.
  • Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Funds.
  • Prepare quarterly investor reports, coordinating with Asset Management, Investor Relations, and Accounting Departments.
  • Review and approve quarterly investor account statements.
  • Oversee quarterly and annual fair value support in collaboration with FP&A and Investment Analysts.
  • Serve as a GAAP subject matter expert for external reporting.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive accounting systems and controls.
  • Oversee the preparation of investment-level financial variances and provide summaries to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Thorough understanding of institutional investor reporting requirements.
  • Extensive experience with GAAP financial statement reporting and footnote preparation.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 Suite and accounting software, with Yardi preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, financial analysis, and project management skills.
  • Skilled in working across heavily matrixed organizations, requiring significant influencing and collaboration skills.
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics required.
  • 10 years of cumulative experience with investment advisory entities (Real Estate or Private Equity).
