Overview

Shimmick is seeking an accomplished Corporate Treasurer based in Irvine, CA, to oversee all Treasury-related functions including operations and strategy. Reporting directly to the CFO, the treasurer will lead strategic initiatives that support enterprise-wide financial objectives while collaborating across the organization to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily banking operations, bank account management and service oversight, access reviews, and authorized user management.
  • Lead cash management operations, ensuring timely and accurate payments across all divisions, lead daily cash management functions to optimize liquidity and working capital.
  • Oversee systems and initiatives, maintain an effective control framework and develop appropriate treasury policies as applicable.
  • Lead treasury technology initiatives to enhance automation and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, GAAP, and internal audit standards for treasury-related activities, collaborate with accounting on disclosures related to cash, investments, and treasury related disclosures.
  • Develop sophisticated near-term and long-range forecasting models, modeling of complex transactions, including capital structure, debt, and investments.
  • Collaborate with FP&A on forecasting, scenario modeling, and long-term planning.
  • Financial Reporting, assist with monthly financial statements as requested, profit and loss projections, and year-end audits.
  • Manage corporate card program.

Key Proficiencies

  • Highly analytical with advanced understanding and experience with treasury technology, treasury management systems (TMS).
  • Advanced financial modeling experience using a variety of software solutions.
  • Risk Management:

    risk management, cash management, and capital allocations.
  • Governance/controls driving execution of financial reporting for treasury.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic collaborative environment - providing professional viewpoints.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field (MBA, CTP preferred).
  • 10+years of progressive responsibility within treasury.
  • Proven experience in treasury, cash and liquidity management, working capital management.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, strong collaborator.
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Possess a ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of infrastructure construction experience.
  • 5+ years Tax experience.
  • Experience with SOX compliance and insurance policies for property, casualty and legal liability risks.
  • 401K plan support, audits, distributions.
  • MBA and/or CPA.

The salary range for this position is between $200,000 - $250,000 per year depending on experience and/or education.
