Overview

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Credit and Collections Manager to assist their team. Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Starting pay rate expected at $55.00 to $65.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to activities related to credit, collections, accounts receivable, accounting, and matters involving bad debt.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies that support reliable financial processes.
  • Recommend and implement policies that may influence practices across the broader organization.
  • Determine methods and procedures for new projects within the area and provide detailed analysis to resolve complex issues.
  • Serve as a key team member by supporting strategic customer relationships and helping manage the collection of significant customer payments.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in accounts receivable including credit, collections, accounting, bad debt, and audit-related work.
  • Hold a degree with preference for studies in accounting, finance, or a related area.
  • Use sound judgment to manage activities related to the credit function, collections, and related responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate strong experience with SAP and serve as both a technical and functional resource.
  • Communicate clearly with internal and external parties and build productive working relationships.
Qualifications
  • Prepare accurate analysis and reporting for senior leadership including metrics related to receivables and customer activity.
  • Lead projects that improve department processes and systems and contribute to stronger performance outcomes.
  • Coordinate schedules and work plans to ensure tasks are completed on time and with accuracy.
  • Serve as the primary contact for external audit requests and maintain organized and reliable documentation.
  • Mentor team members, support their development, and contribute to a results-focused and collaborative environment.
