Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Accounting & Administrative Officer with bilingual proficiency in Korean and English to support daily accounting, treasury, administration, and HR functions. This role will play an integral part in managing financial records, compliance processes, and administrative operations for the company’s real estate and golf club properties in Orange County.
The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting or finance background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
Accounting
- Oversee monthly settlements and prepare adjustment reports for headquarters.
- Support interim and year-end audits in coordination with external auditors.
- Monitor tax filings (IRS and state), assist with compliance reviews, and coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries.
Treasury
- Manage daily banking operations including balance monitoring, check issuance, and reconciliations.
- Oversee AR/AP processing and ensure documentation accuracy.
Administration
- Manage expense processing, lease-related costs, and SG&A verification.
- Maintain business licenses and regulatory permits (e.g., liquor licenses, corporate registrations).
- Oversee insurance management, including subscriptions, renewals, and claims for offices and investment properties.
- Ensure accurate filing, record retention, and compliance documentation.
Human Resources
- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
- Administer payroll and employee benefits programs (health insurance, 401(k)).
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare periodic reports and presentations for senior management and headquarters.
- Act as a liaison with auditors, external accounting firms, and financial institutions.
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
. - Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, treasury, or administrative roles
. - Knowledge of US GAAP, tax compliance, and corporate reporting
. - Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in real estate, golf club, or hospitality operations
