What to Expect

The FP&A Associate will assist the Financial Planning & Analysis team through Month-End Close, reporting, budgeting & forecasting and share FP&A teams’ daily routine responsibilities.

What You Will Do
  • Assist annual business plan as well as perform team’s month-end close, reporting and forecasting as needed throughout budgeting season.
  • Assist in, and eventually independently perform, ad hoc analyses using internal and external financial and operational data and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and executives.
  • Assist in building, enhancing, and maintaining performance related data & automated reporting environment to improve analysis speed and quality.
  • Qualifications What You Will Bring
    • Minimum 2-4 years of financial experience preferably with revenue, budget and cost management experience.
    • Experience in an auto finance, mortgage, credit card or banking organization working with financial modeling (product and portfolio profitability, program or business unit profitability, building financial and business cases), as well as experience with financial/managerial reporting and plan vs. actual gap analysis, and process innovation and segment profitability analysis is preferred.
    • Experience with languages such as PL/SQL, SAS are required.
    • Major consulting firm / auto industry a plus.
    • BA/BS Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, Math or related work experience
    • MBA a plus.
    • Analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel to assist with various financial modeling.
    • Ability to learn the necessary technical skills to manage both financial and operational data through various analytic tools such as SQL and Tableau.
    • Basic understanding of financial and managerial reporting.
    • Knowledgeable in core financial skills; understanding of specific operational areas.
    • Ability to work effectively with team, and across the company.
    • Highly detailed and results oriented..
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to socialize KPIs directions and performance measurement with various departments..
    • Resourceful and innovative problem-solving skills.
    Work Environment

    Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an at home and office
