Senior Financial Analyst

Overview

Currently seeking a dynamic Senior Financial Analyst with 3-5 years of experience for one of Vaco Orange County's clients! This is a hybrid role that only requires in-person 1-2 days a week at their office in Irvine (near the airport).

• Analyze financial performance, trends, and variances; provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, scenario analysis, risk assessment, and investment decisions.
• Prepare and present regular and ad hoc reports for leadership, highlighting KPIs and business drivers.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ERP/FP&A processes by consolidating inputs and validating assumptions.
• Ensure data accuracy through validation, reconciliation, and audit processes.
• Calculate and oversee commissions and performance-based bonuses with accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business goals.
• Mentor junior analysts and support special projects and leadership initiatives.

• Excel (advanced!): financial modeling, VBA, Macros, pivot tables, lookups
• Familiarity with Power BI, ERP systems, and SQL.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and EXCELLENT communication

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field
• 3-5 years experience in corporate financial analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
