Job Summary
The Chief Investment Relations Officer (CIRO) will lead Ba Rup On ’s investor engagement strategy, fundraising initiatives, and capital communications across its expanding portfolio of infrastructure and energy projects. This executive leader will shape and deliver compelling financial narratives, cultivate and manage relationships with venture capital firms, private equity groups, family offices, and institutional investors, and drive successful capital raises.
The CIRO will serve as the primary steward of investor transparency and value communication, ensuring alignment of investment messaging across all business units while representing Ba Rup On at investor meetings, conferences, and due diligence engagements.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives and capital requirements
Lead capital raising initiatives (Series A/B/C, infrastructure financing, structured debt, private placements, etc.)
Manage ongoing investor communications, including quarterly updates, roadshows, performance reporting, and digital investor portals
Prepare and oversee development of investor-facing materials: pitch decks, financial models, term sheets, performance summaries, and press releases
Build, maintain, and expand relationships with institutional investors, venture capital firms, private equity funds, and family offices
Represent Ba Rup On in investor presentations, earnings briefings, board discussions, and high-level negotiations
Monitor capital markets, investor sentiment, and funding trends to guide financing strategy
Collaborate with legal, finance, and executive leadership teams to ensure accurate disclosures, compliance, and reporting integrity
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
10+ years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, private equity, or capital fundraising
Proven track record of leading multi-round capital raises and executing investor targeting and retention strategies
Experience in energy infrastructure, biotech, advanced manufacturing, or other regulated industries preferred
Exceptional executive communication, financial storytelling, and presentation skills
Experience working with CRMs, investor databases, data rooms, and reporting tools (e.g., Carta, Affinity, Hub Spot, or similar platforms)
Experience leading investor relations functions within high-growth, cross-sector organizations
Working knowledge of SEC regulations, Reg D offerings, and public/private placement frameworks
Direct involvement in IPOs, SPAC transactions, or institutional fund partnerships
Established network within venture capital, institutional investment, infrastructure funds, or impact investing communities
