Guardian Tax is scaling quickly as tax season accelerates, and our Irvine office continues to see strong, consistent client demand. To support that growth, we’re bringing on an experienced Tax Preparer who is confident handling individual and business returns in a professional, high-volume environment.

This position is designed for tax professionals who already know their way around complex returns and want stability, structure, and a company that’s expanding—not scrambling. This is not an entry-level role and not remote
. We’re looking for licensed preparers who can hit the ground running and contribute immediately.📌 Your Day-to-Day

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns with accuracy and efficiency

• Work with common schedules including A, B, C, D, as well as amended returns

• Analyze client documentation and identify missing or incomplete information

• Communicate clearly with clients to ensure complete and compliant filings

• Maintain accuracy, organization, and timeliness in a fast-paced tax season workflow

• Support resolution-ready files when needed

• Active CTEC and PTIN (required)

• Previous tax preparation experience (required)

• Experience preparing business returns (strongly preferred)

• Solid working knowledge of Schedules A, B, C, D, and amendments

• Comfort working with professional tax software and internal systems

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance
