About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Associate Manager with high accountability, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative communication style. This role requires a true business partner mentality and the ability to turn financial data into actionable recommendations. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of FP&A, the Associate Manager will oversee key areas of the P&L, driving period, quarterly, and annual operating planning and reporting activities.
The individual will deliver financial insights that align actuals, forecasts, and prior‑year performance, while keeping finance leadership, cross‑functional partners, and parent company Yum! informed on business performance to guide strategic decisions.
Manage key commercial P&L components, including COGS and Fixed Expenses, leading monthly and quarterly close processes, annual forecasting, and identifying risks and opportunities.
Build and maintain financial models while serving as a trusted cross‑functional partner in evaluating capital investment requests and assessing their strategic business value.
Collaborate with Finance, Development, Strategy, and Supply Chain teams to identify trends, cost optimization opportunities, and operational efficiency improvements.
Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate financial results and reconcile issues as needed.
Perform ad hoc analyses, translating data into actionable insights that support strategic initiatives and business objectives.
Is This You?- At least 5 years relevant work experience (e.g., Corporate Finance, Consulting), QSR / retail / multi‑unit franchise industry experience a plus
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to succinctly interpret data for leaders and business partners by translating financial data into meaningful insights
- High internal motivation and willingness to “do what it takes” to get the job done
- Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in financial analysis
- Ability to translate financial performance into actionable business insights
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication/presentation skills, with the ability to partner well with other team members and to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
- Ownership mindset on work product – proactively go deeper on a problem vs. doing exactly what was assigned
- Proficient with PowerPoint and Excel (SQL, Tableau, Power BI and financial reporting system a plus)

Salary Range: $109,400 to $122,000 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
Salary range is expected; pay will consider location, experience, and other job‑related factors.
