• Act as a trusted member of the engagement team providing federal tax compliance and consulting services to industry‑specific clients.
• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to S‑corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations ranging from middle‑market to multinational companies.
• Participate in tax research projects, draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries.
• Collaborate with leaders on special projects in corporate and flow‑through taxation, including accounting methods and ASC 740.
• Develop recommendations for clients and share with leadership to discuss and strategize.
• Communicate and collaborate with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters in state and local, high‑net‑worth, international, research and development, and credits and incentives areas.
• Learn and grow from direct on‑the‑job coaching and mentoring and participate in firm‑wide learning and development programs.
• Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and with clients.
• Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.
• Maintain a work‑life balance encouraging friendships, social activities and team outings.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, business or a related field with sufficient course work and credits to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam in the state of consideration.
• CPA or JD license preferred.
• Two (2)+ years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm.
• Strong time‑management, communication, interpersonal, relationship‑building, collaboration and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong leadership, project management, organizational, analytical skills, initiative and adaptability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

The pay rate range for this position is $85,500 to $108,420. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.
