Treasury Management Support Specialist

About the Role

As a Commercial Banking Client Relationship Specialist, you will work closely with relationship managers and business partners to provide primary client relationship, direction, and customer service support for corporate and commercial deposit clients.

• Provide high‑level client service for all products and services, including fielding client requests via phone, email, and other communication channels, and serve as a subject‑matter expert for Treasury Management products.
• Act as Commercial Banking’s primary customer contact for servicing all clients, receiving guidance from a Senior CCS Representative on complex issues.
• Respond to a variety of banking questions and provide guidance on account implementation, funds transfer/stop payment requests, transaction posting problems, and error resolution.
• Communicate with Relationship Managers, provide updates on client matters, make recommendations, and ensure timely resolution of issues requiring immediate attention.
• Answer incoming calls from Treasury Management customers and internal staff, delivering exceptional service that exceeds expectations and achieving first‑call resolution whenever possible.
• Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations and policies for the assigned job function; keep up to date on regulatory changes and complete required training.
• Maintain knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, RegulationE, Bank Security, and other applicable regulations.
• Coach, mentor, or train others as a subject‑matter expert when requested; actively foster the Columbia corporate culture and act as a positive example for others.

• High school diploma or GED (required);
  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• 2–4 years of banking experience, including new account, lending / loan processing, or customer‑service roles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of bank payment systems, account operations, and banking services; exposure to complex business entities.
• Proficient knowledge of commercial banking products, operations, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all business levels.
• Strong customer‑service, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to multitask, handle complex issues, and use good judgment in decision making.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, and industry‑specific software.
