Valuation Specialist

We are currently searching for Valuation Specialists. The position performs highly detailed functions and technical measurements related to collateral for our lending. The role includes analyzing and evaluating appraisals and supportive reporting, and analyzing high‑value and/or high‑risk properties consistent with company risk compliance.

• Detailed review of various valuation reports (Appraisal Reports, Field Reviews, Desk Reviews, ARRs, BPOs, etc.)
• Communicate concerns related to collateral and value
• Research and analyze property data for analysis (Market/Sales/Rent/Regional, etc.)
• Communicate and resolve questions or problems with multiple departments
• Make value recommendations
• Other duties/projects as assigned
• May perform administrative directed audit functions

• Comprehensive understanding of real estate valuation methodology and concepts
• Familiar with researching property and zoning details via online websites (County, City, State, GIS Maps, private data sources, etc.)
• Plat Map, Survey, Legal Description, and Title Review
• Flexibility of work schedule to meet client needs required
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and root cause determination skills
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

• 4-5 years of relevant experience
• Experience performing real estate valuation reviews and/or a previous audit support role
• Experience in the Mortgage or Banking industry
