The Senior Analyst
- Revenue & Cost Integration position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant revenue and cost reporting across systems and business functions. This role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, Claims and Assurance teams to integrate revenue and cost data, streamline processes, support system implementations, and improve end-to-end financial visibility. This role is accountable for proactively identifying revenue and cost leakage by ensuring all billable and payable transactions are captured, reconciled, and accurately reflected in financial systems and reporting.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial processes and cross-functional collaboration.
- Transaction Integrity & Leakage Prevention
- Identify, track and resolve transactions missing from ITMS to prevent revenue and cost leakage
- Perform end-to-end reconciliations between operational and financial systems to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Partner with Operations, Claims and Assurance teams to validate that all services performed and costs incurred are appropriately billed or accrued
- Design and maintain controls, exception reporting and monitoring processes to detect unbilled revenue, unrecorded costs and timing gaps
- Investigate root causes of missing or delayed transactions and drive corrective actions including system enhancements or process changes
- Support recovery efforts for previously missed revenue or costs and quantify financial impact
- End-to-End Financial Visibility
- Develop and maintain integrated views of revenue and cost across the full life cycle(from contract and operations through billing, accounting and reporting)
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies and timing issues in revenue and cost recognition and recommend process or system improvements
- Ensure alignment between operational drivers and financial outcomes to improve transparency and predictability
- Revenue & Cost Analysis
- Perform detailed revenue and cost analysis to identify trends, variances, risks and opportunities
- Support margin analysis and profitability
- Partner with Accounting to ensure revenue and cost treatment align with company policy and accounting standards
- Data Integration & Reporting
- Improve data integration between source systems and financial reporting tools
- Design and enhance dashboards, reports and KPIs that provide actionable insights
- Support automation and standardization efforts to reduce manual work and improve data accuracy
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between Finance, Claims and Assurance teams to resolve data, process and reporting issues
- Support new business, system implementations and process changes by assessing financial impact and integrations requirements
- Provide clear documentation of processes, assumptions and data flows
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline revenue and cost processes and improve controls
- Support audit requests and internal reviews related to revenue, cost and financial reporting
- Train other team members on reporting design and data gathering to improve team's understanding of report content
- Revenue & Cost Assurance Support
- Partner closely with Revenue Assurance and Cost Assurance teams to support timely billing and payable processing
- Step in as needed to assist backlog resolution, complex reconciliations or issue remediation to prevent billing or payable delays
- Help stabilize revenue and cost workflows during periods of high volume, system changes or resource constraints
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation Range $58,000 - $63,000 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
Skills
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills Required
- Intermediate BI Reporting tools (ex. PowerBI, SQL, and SDLC) Required
- Proficient in MS Excel, Access, and Database knowledge Required
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Required
- Basic accounting concepts Required
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 3 - 5 Years of direct experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, Logistics, BI Reporting Required
- 4 - 7 Years of direct experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, Logistics, BI Reporting Preferred
