Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review accurate financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to meet local and international reporting standards.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial models and analyses to guide decision-making.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage cash flow operations, including optimizing working capital and maintaining strong banking relationships.
- Oversee the consolidation of accounts across subsidiaries and ensure accuracy in financial data.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth audits and compliance with tax laws.
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
- Develop and implement updated accounting policies and procedures to align with best practices.
- Approve payments and oversee liquidity management to ensure the organization meets its financial obligations. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Accounting certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is required.
- At least 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in Sage software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities to manage and motivate teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines with attention to detail.
