Job Overview
Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the full‑time position of Treasury Management Officer III at our Irvine, CA location. Hybrid options available.
Location:
Irvine, CA (must be local to Orange County)
Minimum experience:
10 years in a financial institution.
Preferred credentials:
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation; self‑source opportunity experience with successful team selling and lead sharing; current understanding of treasury management products, offerings, cash‑flow cycles, and working capital; RFP experience; risk/fraud assessment expertise; strong verbal and written communication skills.
Salary: $150k – $190k, dependent on knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
Responsibilities- Provide an exceptional level of quality service for internal and external customers and respond to customers’ needs, questions and concerns accurately, effectively and in a timely manner.
- Prepare pro‑forma analyses of customers’ product sales potential and pricing proposals.
- Review and analyze current and potential commercial relationships and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Participate in the design of marketing and sales programs aimed at commercial customers for treasury management products; develop prospecting and sales materials and reporting used throughout the sales cycle.
- Prepare contracts, agreements and documentation for Treasury Management products and services in accordance with Sunflower Bank policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments and team members on the preparation and presentation of Commercial Banking proposals and RFPs.
- Maintain industry knowledge of treasury management solutions and pricing to stay competitive.
- Leverage reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and convert sales opportunities.
- Perform the job in accordance with applicable industry laws, regulations and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Economics or similar; prior experience may substitute for a degree.
- Minimum of 10 years in a financial institution.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred.
- Ability to self‑source opportunities with a successful track record in team selling and lead sharing.
- Minimum of 5 years of RFP experience and the ability to create proposals.
- Current understanding of treasury management products, offerings, cash‑flow cycles, and working capital.
- Ability to assess and manage risk/fraud with a strong understanding of value propositions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving, strategic thinking, time‑management and organizational skills.
- Strong ability to formulate partnerships with all levels in an organization.
