Compensation: $140,000 - $165,000 + 10% Bonus

Our client, a life sciences company experiencing rapid growth, is searching for a Senior Finance Manager to build out an FP&A function from the ground up. Reporting to the CFO, this role will own budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and sales analytics while playing a key role in shaping how the company plans, reports, and scales. This is an opportunity for someone to make a significant, visible mark on the organization in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate must have strong FP&A leadership experience, advanced financial modeling skills, and ideally a life sciences background.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and ongoing management of annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Build sophisticated financial models to support strategic planning, growth initiatives, and operational decision-making
- Design and deliver meaningful general and sales analytics to support continued rapid growth
- Develop executive dashboards and KPI reporting that provide clear visibility into business performance
- Analyze revenue, margin, operating expense, and profitability trends, identifying risks and opportunities
- Integrate AI tools into reporting and modeling workflows to improve speed, accuracy, and insight
- Perform valuation and investment analyses, including scenario and sensitivity modeling, to support strategic decisions
- Partner with Accounting to ensure forecasting assumptions align with U.S. GAAP
- Prepare and present financial insights, trends, and recommendations for executive leadership
- Serve as a trusted finance business partner to sales, operations, and other functional leaders
- Drive continuous improvement across forecasting, reporting, and planning processes through automation and system optimization
- Lead the selection and implementation of FP&A tools and reporting platforms
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as the organization scales
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive FP&A or finance experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with experience in valuation techniques
- Experience building or scaling FP&A processes in a fast-paced or growth-stage environment
- Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and planning platforms
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a dynamic, evolving role
