For our client, we are seeking a Managing Director - CFO Accounting Advisory to join the team of a leader in the Legal & Accounting space. This role will support financial discipline around P&L visibility, margin improvement, and business performance. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a Legal & Accounting environment.

Location:

Irvine, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $215,950 – $409,420 annually

Responsibilities
  • Lead technical accounting support engagements including transactions and IPO readiness
  • Impact client financial statements and operational profitability
  • Engage with clients to understand their business goals and objectives
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to enhance business performance
  • Deliver insights through review, analysis, and discussions
  • Manage cross-functional teams to meet client profitability targets
  • Build relationships to acquire new clients and projects
  • Invest in personal and team professional development
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, business, finance or related field;
    Master's preferred
  • CPA required, CFA or other relevant certifications a plus
  • 15+ years of related experience, preferably in technical accounting advisory or Big 4
  • Industry experience in private equity
  • Proven track record of managing senior client relationships and leading complex engagements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to deliver high-impact solutions in fast-paced environments
