Baker Tilly, one of the fastest growing CPA advisory firms in the nation, has an incredible career opportunity for a State & Local Tax Senior Manager- consulting focus to join our growing State & Local Tax (SALT) practice! Candidate ideally has income franchise and sales/use tax experience and if not both, then sales/use tax consulting experience is a must. Being located near one of our Baker Tilly offices is highly preferred.

Our SALT practice is made up of 300+ professionals across the U.S., providing a full spectrum of services through various sub practices including Income & Franchise tax, Sales & Use tax, Real & Personal Property tax, and Unclaimed Property. As a member of this talented team, you will help clients capitalize on strategic ideas and planning techniques that ensure state and local tax compliance, reduce expenses and enhance cash flow.

You would like to work directly with CFO’s, owners and leaders from middle market and Fortune 500 companies to help them solve their most complex state & local tax challenges.

You want to continue to expand your leadership experiences and hone your consulting skills as a comprehensive SALT professional in areas such as, nexus determinations, taxability analysis, voluntary disclosure and remediation, research projects, ruling requests, tax engine configuration and implementation, process review, reverse audits, controversy representation for audits, appeals, and routine notices, mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings, and credits & incentives. Your work will be principally consulting focused.
