Wire Specialist

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Wire Specialist opportunity with a Bank, downtown Los Angeles, with a strong focus on commercial banking and specialized industries. This is an opportunity to learn in a Bank that concentrates on sophisticated commercial client and industries.

The Wire Specialist is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

• Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfers.
• Verify wire instructions, account information, signatures, and required approvals.
• Review transactions for accuracy and compliance with bank policies and procedures.
• Respond to customer and branch inquiries regarding wire transfers.
• Research and resolve wire-related discrepancies and exceptions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all wire transactions.
• Follow established procedures related to BSA/AML, OFAC, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with other financial institutions as needed to research or resolve wire issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive customer and account information.

Required qualifications for the position include:

• 1+ year of banking experience, preferably in wire operations, banking operations, or transaction processing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of domestic and/or international wire transfers preferred.
• Basic understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel, preferred.

Preferred qualifications for the position include:

• Experience with wire processing, payment operations, or other high-volume banking transactions is highly desirable.

Pay Rate Range: $22.00/hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
