A Tier-1, publicly traded REIT is seeking a 1 - 4 year Finance Associate who will help analyze the performance of a large, institutional-quality real estate portfolio.
The role will work across operational finance, real estate, data analytics, and emerging AI-enabled tools
—with significant exposure to Finance, Asset Management, Operations, and portfolio-level decision-making.
The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys digging into the numbers, understanding what is driving property performance
, and turning large amounts of financial and operational data into clear insights for the business.
- Analyze property- and portfolio-level performance across revenue, expenses, occupancy, margins, and NOI
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities that can improve operating performance
- Evaluate key operating drivers including lease activity, expense trends, and property-level margins
- Partner with Finance, Asset Management, Operations, and portfolio teams to provide actionable financial insights
- Support annual budgets and forecasts through historical analysis and performance trends
- Assist with quarterly financial and earnings materials
, including variance analysis and performance commentary - Build reports, dashboards, and presentations using Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools
- Leverage automation and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, analysis, and financial processes
- Help transform complex datasets into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations
- Maintain strong data integrity and financial modeling standards across reporting and analytical processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, real estate finance, or a similar analytical role
- Strong Excel and financial modeling capabilities
- Experience analyzing P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
- Ability to work with large datasets and translate analysis into meaningful business recommendations
- Exposure to automation, analytics platforms, or AI-enabled productivity tools
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple areas of an organization
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, highly analytical environment
- Property- or portfolio-level financial analysis
- FP&A within a sophisticated corporate environment
- Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
- Experience applying AI or automation to finance and reporting workflows
