Mortgage Loan Officer

Zillow is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to guide home buyers through financing solutions in our digital real estate marketplace. You will manage a pipeline of mortgage applications, assess borrower eligibility, present loan options, and ensure compliant, on-time closings. Partner closely with sales, real estate, and product teams to deliver a seamless, data-driven lending experience. You'll leverage Zillow tools, analyze credit and income documentation, and communicate clearly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize a pipeline of mortgage loan applications
• Assess borrower creditworthiness and verify income, assets, and liabilities
• Recommend appropriate mortgage products aligned with borrower goals and risk profile
• Explain loan terms, rates, and closing costs to customers clearly
• Ensure all files meet regulatory, investor, and company compliance standards
• Collaborate with sales, real estate agents, and internal operations to drive on-time closings
• Use Zillow tools and data to streamline the digital lending experience
• Maintain accurate records and updates in LOS/CRM systems
• Monitor market conditions, rates, and lending guidelines
• Contribute feedback to improve lending processes, tools, and customer experience
