Responsibilities- Evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, strategic alliances and other impactful strategic initiatives.
- Actively performing due diligence and target research and assisting in the sourcing of new acquisition opportunities.
- Providing analytical support for transactions, including M&A activities.
- Developing, building and nurturing effective relationships with potential acquisition and partnership targets.
- Building valuation analyses, financial models, and performing business and financial analyses of acquisition targets’ financials, sales and operations.
- Coordinating outside professional advisors’ and internal advisors’ due diligence activities for M&A transactions.
- Preparing reports and presentations to support M&A transactions.
- Performing industry, competitive and market analysis in support of both organic and inorganic opportunities.
- Independently developing analysis and research to drive faster decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field.
- 1–3 years in corporate development, private equity, transaction advisory services, investment banking or management consulting.
- Demonstrated experience in financial due diligence.
- Demonstrated experience developing valuation models; must be able to pass a financial modeling and valuation exam administered by Revelyst.
- Ability to creatively problem solve under high pressure and deal with ambiguity.
- Strong numerical and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Capital IQ platform.
- Ability to organize, prioritize work, manage multiple tasks and projects, and function effectively as a team member.
Annual Salary: $115,000 – $125,000 (based on experience, location, education, skills).
