Corporate Development Manager

I'm partnering with a large, $1B public company based in Irvine, CA. to hire a Manager of Corporate Development/M&A.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing corporate development team with an active deal pipeline, strong mentorship, and direct exposure to the CFO and broader C-suite.

• Developing and evaluating the acquisition pipeline
• Building valuation, DCF, merger, LBO, and accretion/dilution models
• Leading cross-functional due diligence work streams
• Assessing strategic fit, risks, synergies, and value-creation opportunities
• Preparing transaction materials for senior leadership and the Board
• Supporting deal negotiations, integration planning, and strategic initiatives

The team expects to complete 1-2 buy-side transactions annually, with an average deal size of approximately $125M-$250M. The position will initially be an individual-contributor role, with the potential to add an analyst-level direct report as the team grows.

• 3-7 years of relevant corporate development or M&A experience
• Strong valuation and financial-modeling capabilities
• Experience supporting transactions across multiple stages of the deal lifecycle
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence
• Investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or strategy experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred

Compensation: $180K-$230K base salary plus a 10% annual bonus and potential eligibility for annual RSU grants.
