What You’ll Do

As a key member of the Finance team, you’ll help shape health and wellness outcomes for people around the world.

The Director, Finance (US Operations) is responsible for leading the day-to-day accounting and financial responsibilities, financial reporting, internal controls, treasury, tax, forecasting and performance management for US Operations. This role is the primary finance executive for the entire US operation, accountable for financial stewardship, governance, performance management and strategic decision making.

The role partners with the Managing Director to shape strategy, allocate capital, manage risk, and drive growth, while ensuring the US operation operates in full alignment with Jamieson's global finance, accounting and governance standards. The role acts as a key bridge between corporate finance and US leadership, translating strategy into execution while providing independent financial challenges, insight and leadership.

The Director, Finance, is highly influential across the business, leading the development and maintenance of KPIs and tools to measure financial performance across commercial, operational and support functions. The Director will train, develop and lead a high-performing finance team to identify opportunities and provide recommendations aligned with the business’ short-term and long-term objectives.

Specific

Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • The primary finance executive for the entire US operations, accountable for financial integrity, governance and performance outcomes
  • A trusted advisor to the Managing Director and US leadership team on strategy, investments, risk and opportunities
  • Drive a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance team; foster collaboration between other departments to drive business alignment and shared success
  • Lead, coach and develop the US finance team, building succession and growing capabilities within the team
  • Represent the US business in enterprise finance related matters, including planning cycles, LRP and other transformational initiatives; supporting the strategy, translating it into financial plans, and enabling execution
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations on key commercial and operational decisions for the US operations
  • Accountable for end-to-end finance and accounting functions, including consolidation, reporting, cash management, payroll, operational and commercial finance
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and global financial policies (IFRS), delivering accurate and timely reporting
  • Ensure compliance with corporate finance policies, internal controls, while customizing for the US were applicable
Tax & Treasury
  • Oversee all tax planning activities, transfer pricing, compliance, and reporting in the US, ensuring efficiency and adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and local banking relationships to support operational and growth needs
