Summer Internship-Business Development Support Analyst, US

Internship positions are located atPIMCO’s Newport Beach, CA Headquarters.

You’reeligible to apply if you:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • Must be able to beginfull time employment from a PIMCO office between

    January 2028 – August 2028
  • Must be enrolled at a university during theFall 2027 semester (August 2027 – December 2027)
  • Have a minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) at an accredited 4-year college or university
  • Are business proficient in English

Seeyourselfas a Business Development Support Analyst:

The Business Development Support (BDS) team is responsible for managing the coordination and submission of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) for PIMCO globally, playing an integral part intheinitial sales process to prospective clients, as well as in the servicing of existing clients. The BDS team utilizes a collaborative approach and works closely with Account Managers, Product Strategists, and subject matter experts across the organizationtoproduce compelling proposals and responses for clients, prospects, and investment consultants across PIMCO’s public and private market strategies.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the completion of RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs to aid in business growth and maintain strong client relationships
  • Partnering with

    Account

    Management, Product Strategy,andteamsacross the firm to provide thoughtful, accurate,and timely responses covering firm-level and strategy-specific topics
  • Learning to navigate the firm's proprietary systems and the BDS team'sdatabaseto source, synthesize, and craftcontent
  • Developing a strong understanding of the firm's investment strategies and overall approach

You’llexcel as a Business Development Support Analyst if you:

  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Are familiar with financial markets andhave astrong interest in learning about fixed income, the asset management industry, andhow PIMCO builds relationships with clients, prospects, and investment consultants
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, which supportthoughtful, resourceful, and high-quality responses
  • Enjoy writing and synthesizing complex information into clear, persuasive narratives
  • Have excellent time managementandorganizational skills and ability to flourish in a challenging, fast-paced, professional environment
  • Show commitment to quality and attention to detail; ensure that work is complete, accurate and on time
  • Showeffective communication skills and ability to interact professionally with all levels of internal and external personnel in both written and verbal communications
  • Have experience or prior college internships in a financial, client-oriented roleand/or demonstrated interest through business,finance,and analytics coursework, as well as relevant professional and student organizations
  • Have demonstrated curiosity and experience in using new emerging technologies and AI tools in your work or school projects to solve problems and drive better outcomes
