WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Dispute Resolution Associate is responsible for investigating and responding to credit dispute s received from customers. This role performs account reviews, respon ds to customer dispute s, and identifies system and/or process related opportunities for operational improvement.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Investigate accounts for accuracy in connection with the credit dispute request and respond promptly to the customer through the related dispute channel (mail or credit bureau).
• Manage individual productivity to ensure both production and SLA targets are met.
• Partner with various departments/teams to solve intricate problems, mitigate business risk, and drive customer satisfaction.
• Assist in identifying process improvements to positively impact customer experience and drive operational improvements.
• Report trends and/or service issues to the leadership team and corresponding departments.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

• Minimum 2-4 years of related experience in a call center or customer support environment, including Collections, Servicing, Credit, or Funding functions, as well as customer service and escalation resolution experience.
• Knowledge of Credit Reporting and the Fair Credit Reporting Act is preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple customer issues effectively.
• Ability to follow procedures, apply guidance, and exercise sound judgment in handling customer issues.
• Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems, tools, and databases efficiently.
