Sr. Personal Banker

Responsible for managing customer accounts and promoting banking products and services. Assisting customers with various banking transactions and responsible for supporting and delivering quality customer service in a fast paced, exciting and ever-changing environment in the Commercial Servicing Department. The Person al Banker is the first level of contact performing client facing functions for the operations area of the department whose focus is servicing a diverse portfolio of commercial clients.

Personal bankers also strive to build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Additionally, Senior Personal Bankers may be trained to review reports, assist other Personal Bankers with questions, and provide support to Lead Personal Banker with complex customer requests.

• Oversees a designated portfolio of Commercial Banking clients. Opens all accounts for clients. Answers all client inquiries regarding accounts, products and services.
• Provides highest level of service to all clients and maintain exemplary customer service standards primarily by telephone. Effectively respond to client needs with emphasis on first call resolution. Maintain strong product, operational and commercial banking knowledge in order to effectively resolve issues. Consistently comply with all Bank policies and procedures, regulations and compliance requirements in order to prevent losses and meet audit standards.
  
  May represent the Bank in civic and community events to enhance the reputation of Mechanics Bank and expand business opportunities.
• May review and approve daily reports as assigned and trained.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Personal Banker or equivalent.
• 5 years business new account opening experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• New Account opening experience.
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of business account documentation and requirements.
• Must have a thorough understanding of all Bank policies and procedures, regulations and compliance requirements in order to prevent losses and meet audit standards.
• Understand Wire Transfer Agreement and risk associated with approvals.
• Comfortable in communicating critical information to clients under specific time constraints.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $36.00 hourly
