Financial Analyst
Hybrid | Salt Lake City, UT or Houston, TX
Full-Time | $95,000-$115,000
A large publicly-traded manufacturing company is seeking a Financial Analyst to support a business unit through financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. This role partners closely with managers and leadership, providing insights, recommendations, and presentations that drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial results, trends, and variances; identify risks and opportunities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses.
- Provide analysis of sales, margins, expenses, capital expenditures, and cost center spending.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for management.
- Assist with audits, SOX compliance activities, and ERP-related projects.
- Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance required.
- Strong financial analysis, modeling, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to leadership.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
Preferred
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- SAP FI/CO experience.
- Exposure to SOX compliance and external audits.
- Public accounting background with strong analytical skills.
Ideal candidates are strong communicators who can partner with business leaders, identify trends, provide actionable recommendations, and translate data into meaningful business insights.
