Are you a structural biologist looking to bridge the gap between fundamental discovery and real-world therapeutic applications? The Rongsheng Jin Laboratory at the University of California, Irvine (School of Medicine) is looking for a motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our NIH-funded research team.
The MissionWe are elucidating the molecular mechanisms of bacterial virulence factors and translating these discoveries into macromolecular drug development—specifically focusing on antibodies, vaccines, and innovative medical cosmetics.
The ToolsOur lab sits at the cutting edge of biophysics, integrating Cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM), X-ray crystallography, and advanced biochemical & cell biology assays.
