Job Definition and ResponsibilitiesUnder close supervision, serves as a staff psychologist, conducting assessments, providing treatment, and offering consultation. Responsibilities include evaluating inmates' mental health and legal competency, providing court updates and testimony, collaborating with justice partners, and utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities.
Minimum Requirements- Doctorate in Psychology or related field from an accredited university.
- License waiver issued by the California Department of Mental Health, with specific conditions regarding duration and out-of-state qualifications.
- Post-doctorate experience as a Psychologist is desirable.
Light physical effort; active licenses and certifications; ability to pass performance evaluation during initial employment period.
