We are seeking a California-licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our team for specialized sterile compounding and medication preparation services. This role operates under direct pharmacist supervision and focuses on the precise preparation of intravenous therapies, injectable medications, and specialized pharmaceutical compounds in a controlled cleanroom environment.

• Location :
  Irvine, California (on-site)
• Schedule :
  Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Contract Duration : 3-month assignment (opportunity for extension or conversion)

• Perform sterile compounding of intravenous medications and injectable pharmaceutical preparations.
• Prepare and process specialized medications including cytotoxic agents and biohazardous compounds.
• Maintain strict adherence to United States Pharmacopeia Chapter 797 (sterile compounding) and Chapter 800 (hazardous drug handling) standards.
• Follow institutional safety protocols and cleanroom procedures.
• Package and label medications according to regulatory requirements and facility guidelines.
• Work within a controlled sterile environment for extended periods while maintaining aseptic technique.

• Licensure :
  Active, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
• Experience :
  Minimum of 6 months performing pharmacy technician duties in a healthcare or institutional setting.
• Education :
  High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary vocational/technical training; OR foreign pharmacy school graduate.
