ECMO RRT – Respiratory Therapist

Orange County, CA
Contract | 40-hours per week | Acute Care Setting

We are seeking an experienced ECMO-trained Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support a high-acuity critical care team in a large academic medical center environment.

This role involves hands-on management of patients requiring advanced cardiopulmonary support, including ECMO therapy. The ideal candidate is confident in ICU settings and experienced with complex ventilator management and ECMO circuit monitoring.

• MANDATORY: ECMO experience
• Active California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
• RRT credential (NBRC)
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU respiratory experience

• Adult ICU, CVICU, or MICU background
• Experience troubleshooting ECMO circuits
• Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
• Experience in large acute care or teaching hospitals
